Robert Trent Jones Sr. paid a visit to Sugarbush in 1961 and decided to offer his expertise in designing the Resort’s golf course. Mr. Jones is one of history’s great masters of golf course architecture and his legendary talent is apparent in every one of the 18 holes of the Sugarbush Golf Club. Designed with remarkable respect for the natural surroundings, this par-71 course is as beautiful as the game itself. SUGARBUSH RESORT TENNIS PROGRAM

Sugarbush has one of the finest resort tennis programs set against a spectacular Vermont backdrop. Directed by USPTA and USPTR certified Professional, Ross Greene, the tennis school offers a variety of year-round programs and lessons for kids and adults.

The Sugarbush Tennis School is considered one of the finest resort tennis programs in North America. Nestled in Vermont’s sweeping Green Mountains, the School provides a perfect setting for the game: ideal temperatures and scenic mountain landscapes.

The Sugarbush Tennis School is dedicated to teaching the skills and benefits of tennis to all ages and levels in a fun, challenging, and healthy environment. Students are instructed and immersed in the complete game: strokes, speed, footwork, and mental preparation. Drills, game matching, and round robins will guarantee fun & learning for every participant.

ABOUT SUGARBUSH MOUNTAIN VERMONT SKI RESORT

Sugarbush Resort, tucked against the 4,000’ mountains that surround Warren, VT, is a remarkable four-season mountain destination in central Vermont’s sweeping Mad River Valley. As part of the Vermont Festival of the Great Oudoors, this guided hike will be a nature-study through Slide Brook Basin, a protected wildlife management area. Through the hike you will be introduced to evidence of black bear activity with bear-marked trees, nurse trees, and the plants which support the black bear through the warm months.

September 18, 2010 - September 19, 2010 : Wrench and Ride Women's Bike Camp

Join the women of Sugarbush for two days of great coaching and riding and plenty of good company. Includes breakfast and lunch daily, trail and mechanical instruction, video analysis, lift tickets, zip line ride, and yoga classes. For the beginner to intermediate mt. biker who is looking to learn and improve basic trail and mechanical skills. Learn and ride at your own speed.

This classic Vermont foot race goes through farm fields, along country roads and the Mad River Greenway. The event includes an 8 mi. and 4 mi. race, a 4 mi. fitness walk and a free kid's fun run. We offer organic foods and refreshments, unique awards and prizes, a commemorative T-shirt and goodie bag. Registration is at 9:00 a.m.
