Or stay with us for a long weekend. Rest up at The Sportsman's Main Lodge after a day of hiking, biking, skiing, or fishing. The Sportsman's Inn has been a favorite with skiers, sports enthusiasts, local folk and families for over 40 years. Our restaurant features a classic Adirondack tap room, three stone fireplaces and two main dining rooms. Three Osborne Dioramas adorn the Tap Room and the Rustic Main Dining Room. These depict the opening of Whiteface Mountain Ski Center, a classic Rathskeller tavern, and adventures of trout fishing the West Branch of the Ausable River. Steinhoff's chef features a generous light menu available anytime. With a full menu during Dinner hours.

Drive the Whiteface Memorial Highway to the summit of the fifth highest mountain in the Adirondacks. Or enjoy the 8 mile climb from the crossroads in Wilmington.
